Founded in 2017 by Timothy J. Buck, President & Managing Director; Buck Business Partners, LLC (BBP) is a Management Consulting Firm that focuses on supporting organizations and entities with meeting their key initiatives and objectives. This is accomplished through the holistic view and application of sound team work, partnership, and collaboration with our Clients and Management Consultants. Accordingly, BBP provides solutions, business advisory services, and resources our clients can leverage to make their organizations more profitable, effective and efficient. Our Management Consultants and Internal Control and Business Process Specialists maintain diversified experience, specific skill-sets and credentials that make them extremely adaptable to many different business environments and cultures.

About Timothy J. Buck
Timothy J. Buck is an accomplished Management Consultant, Internal Audit Leader, and Internal Control Specialist. Over the course of his career, Tim has developed and continues to develop sustainable partnerships with clients requiring outside support relative to internal controls and business process initiatives. His functional experience includes over 25 years in providing Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Services to a diverse portfolio of clients in the Carolinas and the global marketplace. Tim maintains extensive knowledge and experience leading teams, engagements, and projects which include financial and operational audits, IT audits, integrated audits, regulatory reviews, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) programs, fraud investigations, quality assurance reviews, internal audit start-up and transformation efforts, shared service center start-up and transformation projects, process improvement projects, and system implementation projects.
Tim earned his M.B.A. degree in Business Management from Pfeiffer University and obtained his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD.
Tim is active in his community and currently sits on the Lake Norman Little League Board of Directors as the Chairperson of the Audit Committee and as the League's former Safety Officer. In addition, he is President of the Carolinas Chapter of the Mt. St. Mary University Alumni Association where he is also a member of the University’s National Alumni Council. Tim served as a past President and a long-time Board Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors-Charlotte Chapter and was part of the St. Mark Catholic Church (Huntersville, NC) Finance Council when the parish built a multi-million dollar sanctuary. He is also a volunteer baseball and basketball coach at Lake Norman Little League and St. Mark Catholic School, respectively.
